Nice Leather Case – shame about the practicalities!
I purchased this case from Amazon in the middle of last year and remain completely satisfied with the standard of service from Amazon.
I decided to push the boat out with the iPhone cover as my old XDAIIi was written off by a fall.
This is better than the standard Carphone Warehouse £20 iPhone cover that I was offered – by far. It is strong but still looks sleek and stylish (unlike its owner!)
So, very good value for money.
This holder has only two non adjustable clips at either side to hold the phone. As a result my phone constantly falls out.
It therefore offers very little protection to my phone, and in truth makes it more likely that I will drop it.
The quality of the leather and stitching seems fine and the the product looks good, but sadly it fails to perform its most basic function.
This case is definetely one of the most expensive cases you can get for an Iphone so i would expect it to perform the easiest of tasks- but even better! however it didn’t live up to my expectactions. When i first purchased it i was definetely satisfied.. it opened like a book and my iphone fit into it perfectly (cheaper cases stretch when the iphone is put into it) After a few weeks i realised that the top of the case wasn’t as safe as first thought. I downloaded an application that involved shaking the iphone (maybe a bad idea) and it almost fell out! now i have had to cellotape the top of the case to avoid the iphone slipping out.
Furthermore when i answer the phone because the case opens like a book, the case ends up slapping me around the face which of course isn’t very practical.
The case is very protective considering it’s leather, but if you are looking for a case that is safe and not so ridiculously expensive, i would choose something else.
