    Beware of this seller
Go Buy 2000 supply their products without any means of identification whatsoever. The brand new product I purchased came with, no means of initiating the warranty period and the…

  2. Most people either love this phone… or they hate it. It is to this years mobile phone market what the Citroen DS was to 1960’s car design… sleek, sexy, quirky and different!

Having shied away from Motorola’s for all of my mobile phone owning life to date (based upon hearsay evidence of them being poor performers and “user unfriendly”) it was not without some sense of intrepidation that I eventually upgraded my trusty Nokia 8910i for one of these. I can report back that, almost to my surprise, I’m thoroughly pleased with my choice!

First the bad points. The user interface isn’t as simple as Nokia’s or Sony Ericsson’s for sure, and there seem to be a few “niggly” ommissions (like having to scroll through all of the address book to find a number rather than a “search” option, but luckily I don’t seem to have that many friends… so I’ll live with that. Secondly (although possibly not a bad point for some) I can state with confidence that it doesn’t try to pack every “bell and whistle” into it’s thin frame. If you want an FM radio, memory card slot, Video camera, Teasmade and oven timer included on a phone the size of your brain cell… then perhaps this isn’t the phone for you.

However if you want a well made, attractive phone with enough extras to keep you occupied and (most importantly in my book)exceptional call clarity, then I would recommend this phone to you. The outer shell of the phone is anodised aluminium which feels great and (given that the phone is less than 14mm thick even when closed) is reassuringly robust. I love the keypad which is “etched” onto the face of the phone and glows a hypnotoc blue in the dark. At first it seems a little different to use (but then this phone is) but personally I prefer it now to traditional keypads, and it is leaps ahead of my old Nokia 8910i (which I found a little fiddly). But the “piece de resistance” of this phone is the call quality… I’m astounded… It really is superb, if you don’t believe me try it for yourself. One last point (which clinched it for me), it comes with just about every accessory you could want included – usb cable, software, leather case, charger and (get this) even a “wiper” to clean your new purchase from greasy finger marks etc!!! If I’ve convinced you already and you’re persuaded to get one they come in silver or black… for me the black wins every time, I think it looks really classy (mind you I chose the wife aswell!!!).

In summary you’ve probably guessed that I love this phone. It’s not got every gadget known to man… but then if I want video camera I’ll buy one!!! But what it does do is excel as a well built, great looking phone with outstanding performance.

  3. I got this phone simply because I had used my Nokia 6310 for far too long, and wanted something different.
Overall, it is a good phone, which does the job well enough.
I miss some of the Nokia features such as sending business cards (can’t seem to find this anywhere in the Razr).
But more than made up in the Razr by having a speakerphone which is pretty good.
Battery life is alright, considering the large screen.
Only thing which could have been better is the Font used – in some cases it is really too large and ugly, and not in tune with the phone’s cool design.

  4. I have used this phone for about two months now and it is okay – it does the job but without excelling. It is easy to use and texting, although different in concept to other makes of phone, works well. The big internal screen and camera is also very good. However, to me the operating software lacks refinement – it seems quite long winded to do simple things like update the phone book etc. I also find it hard to switch between ring/silent/vibrate modes and retain the settings with the phone in its case. Additionally, my version has no installed games – only two time limited demos. Overall I am lukewarm about this phone – if looks are a priority buy it but remember the adage “beauty is (at best) skin deep”.

Easy To Use, Looks Pretty Good, That’s About It..
I got this phone from my brother last year, has lasted me just about. The flip up hinge is about to break. It has done it’s job, easy to use but nothing special.

Great phone when works, but doesn’t last long & goes mental
I wanted to write a good honest review here on this phone, after owning the phone quite a while, this may be helpful to some potential buyers.

    Star design
A beautifully designed phone that offers a myriad of features for the price – Bluetooth, quad band, speaker phone, a camera and a tough adonised aluminium case.

    Great phone
A great slim phone and such an improvement on the Siemens I previously had. The SMS is easy to use and the camera produces some reasonable images for the price.

    What a waste….
Three words – DO NOT BOTHER. The only good thing about the V3 is its appearance and even that loses its novelty after a few weeks.

    Ultra Cool V3
I’m really not a mobile phone fan – in fact my Nokia 6310 has been with me for the last 5 years! I’m also have no reason to use a phone as a camera (why would you) but the design…

…then this would be it. By the spread of reviews it’s obviously something you either love or hate, and there are a few idiosyncracies about the OS i don’t like, after years of…

    A crushing disappointment
I was given a Carphone Warehouse voucher for Christmas, so I thought I’d treat myself to the V3, after the tempting advertisements I’d seen for it.
